The staff make the place. It's ready for an uplift. Found numerous hairs in the bathroom and the shower didn't work. The staff where very quick to offer a room move or use of another shower. Which worked great. The food is lovely we had evening meal and cooked breakfast the next morning.
Great value and a large room. I stayed for a few nights and wasn’t disappointed, I’d happily stay again when next in the area.

Lovely find! Really do like a good inn and this is a great one. Location spot on helped even more by the glorious weather. Dinner was lovely, if a little slow at times, made up for by the lovely staff. The team from check in to check out were lovely...a credit it you Woodman Inn. Only feedback would be the pillows were a bit high/hard and I thought the room was a bit overpriced...only a bit though. Overall a great experience. Thank you!
Yesterday I took my parents and autistic son for Sunday lunch at The Woodman Inn. Having frequented quite a lot of venues for Sunday lunch I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I have had thus far! The staff went out of their way to ensure that my son who has lots of needs were met and were very attentive throughout our meal. Service was excellent, food was an absolute delight and the atmosphere was wonderful. Will definitely be visiting again.... would highly recommend going if you haven't already. Thank you so much to all the lovely staff for making our afternoon a fabulous one! P.s.....we thought the prices for lunch were perfect....

You can't beat Three Acres for fine dining. It's the place "to be seen" (helicopter pad, anyone..?)and truly loved up to its reputation. Interestingly, you won't see them advertising very much - but quite frankly, they don't need to as their food and the overall quality of experience speaks for itself. Definitely one to go for if you love your high-end food and unusually for a restaurant, they take their coffee seriously here as well.
Fantastic food and atmosphere. The customer service was beyond reproach. The accommodation is stylish and comfortable. The 3 Acres is a must for any foodie... award winning fine dining from the same family for 50 years. A visit at The 3 Acres can only be a celebration of all things good.

I got a room here for £20, it was the smallest room I’ve slept in hotel or otherwise however it still gets 5 stars. The room was clean, the bed comfy with 2 different pillows giving you a good chance of being comfortable. There was a TV in the room and even a NOW TV box allowing movies and programs on demand for no charge which I haven’t come across in any hotel before. There were plenty of sockets right next to the bed. The room I chose wasn’t en-suite the bathroom was just a short walk across the landing and was very clean and roomy. Everything in the bathroom worked fine, there was a shower cubicle and a bath. I parked my car right outside the front door. The bar was very reasonably priced and the staff very friendly and polite. The bar doesn’t serve dinner however they are happy for you to order something from a local takeaway (which they have plenty of menus for) and eat it in the bar. There is also a free pool table in a separate room. Honestly can’t think of anything bad to say about this place. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely and clean, beds very comfortable and decent bedding. Good pillows. Although a little rough around the edges it's excellent value for money. Decent breakfast and staff were very accommodating.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

The three star review is simply not true. The poster says "Dirty and neglected" What absolute rubbish. The place is spotlessly clean and the owner has, in her own garden, and on site an amazing display of perennial plants. I could not believe the comments. This is a lovely farm site. Great value at £15 for a tent, spotlessly clean facilities, two real ale pubs within 15 minutes walk and a very good Indian restaurant about 2 miles away that delivers to the site free of charge. We just spent our third weekend in the sun there, no noisy groups, and a marvellous chorus of birds in the nearby woods. I just don't understand that review, it is fiction; AND we were there on the same night! Amazed. During the week I will post photos of the facilities and gardens as proof, unless the poster removes the review.
What a beautiful place to rest and recuperate. The area is so quiet and the owners so friendly. We love this campsite.
